Game drives are offered twice daily, accompanied by an armed and passionately knowledgeable guide and tracker team in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Games drives take place during the early mornings and late afternoon / evenings and are an incredible tracking adventure surrounded by spectacular landscapes and freely roaming wildlife.
A truly special way to encounter the wild up close is with a leisurely boat cruise along the Chobe River at sunset. IN THE HEART OF THE BUSH
“It was great to spend time at Chobe Under Canvas – I thought the whole idea and concept worked really well. I loved the idea that you were in the heart of the bush surrounded by wildlife and big game and still able to sleep in luxury comfort. I thought the tents were beautiful and were so well equipped. I especially noted the concept which was carried out throughout the camp…”
with the dark wood furnishings and all the leather accessories which certainly added a personal touch. I thought the food was delicious and made even more so when you appreciated that you were in the middle of the bush with nothing but basic cooking amenities! The main tent was stunning with crisp white linen table cloth – very elegant and fantastic service to go with it. Please pass on my thanks to my guide Joe who looked after me –he was very friendly and hospitable to me and all guests and made everyone feel very relaxed and welcome.
